Weiss ("Halo") werden die Drehbücher schreiben und als Executive Producers fungieren, Martin wird jedoch an den Drehbüchern mitarbeiten und als Co-Executive Producer dabei sein. Gedreht werden soll in Europa und Neuseeland. Begonnen wird mit dem 1996 erschienenen erstem Buch "A Game of Thrones" (in Deutschland erschienen als "Die Herren von Winterfell" und "Das Erbe von Winterfell"). Quelle: phantastik-news.de

gelini71 Die Serie ist übrigens nicht schlecht aber im HBO Kosmos auch nix neues - ist halt sowas wie "Sopranos" meets "Rome" im Mittelalterkostüm. Wer Herr der Ringe im Serienformat erwartet wird sicherlich enttäuscht sein...
