New Line Home Entertainment will release The Butterfly Effect 2 on
October 10th, according to Davis DVD. This direct-to-DVD sequel to the original Ashton Kutcher thriller stars Eric Lively and Erica Durance. The disc will come with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks, a commentary with the filmmakers and a behind-the-scenes featurette. Retail is $19.97. The story will follow a new character who, like Kutcher in the first, finds he can travel through time. As he changes past events, though, they have unexpected consequences in the present.
