(zumindest hofft man das - es gibt auch Gerüchte über eine Sex-lastigere Variante)
Auf jeden Fall erscheint demnächst eine RC1 und eine britische RC2 (ist schon bei Play gelistst) ... wenn´s mehr Einzelheiten gibt, werde ich diese natürlich weitergeben...

A group of American students take a trip to Ireland
to learn about the druids. They're staying at a house
in the middle of nowhere, which at first seems pretty
nice but what they don't know is that there's a
cannibal lurking around in the forest, just waiting
to chop them up and eat them, one by one. Will anyone
survive this cannibal massacre or will they all be
served as dinner?
Review:
First of all I wanna say sorry for my bad humour, but
I couldn't resist writing those titles after Jenna's name.
When I saw that someone was selling a pirated rough
VHS copy of this on eBay, I just couldn't resist buying
it. I'm not one of those who's been longing to see this
one like hell but I was still really curious to see what
all the fuzz was about.
It's been over two years now since this movie was made
and it still hasn't found distribution, despite the
big hype that it's created for itself. I wonder why.
The movie might be low budget but you can't tell. It
looks like any other horror movie that you would see
on theatres in a limited release. I guess it must be
due to all the heavy gore. See, the movie is very
gory but you can't cut it away because then it would
make absolutely no sense at all so if this ever does
get a release, I'm pretty certain that it'll be an
uncut one. Let's hope so anyway.
Guess what? These porn stars can actually act. I thought
that they were all pretty good. I think that many guys
will also appreciate all the nudity in the movie.
However, I think that what impressed me most was the
directing. For being a low budget slasher it looks
really good, in fact, it looks better than most
slashers that I've seen before.
It's really hard to say whether I liked this movie or
loved it due to the fact that there were a couple of
scenes missing and there were no sound effects or
music at all in this rough cut. I think that the final
version will be excellent with all the sound effects
and such. I still jumped a few times and it's not
often that you do that without the proper sound fx.
Wait until this is released on DVD to see it, don't
buy a rough cut VHS copy like I did, I promise you
that it'll be worth it.
Gore:
Woooh! I knew it was going to be gory but this is
like the ultimate bloodbath. One gets his head
chopped off so that it flies high up in the sky.
One chick is carved out like a fish and it looks
very realistic. One gets torn in two parts. One
gets a hayfork through the stomach. There's just
too much in here that I can't even tell you it
all. There was only one scene that I didn't like
and that was when Gary was killed, being strangled
by your own intestines was not very tasteful at all.
Final Thoughts:
I'm guessing that I will love the final version of
this if they leave all the gore in. I hope they will
because otherwise the movie will make no sense, if
they don't re-shoot those scenes that is. Wait for
this one until it eventually gets released,
I promise you, it'll be worth it.
